COACHES REPORTS 

As round 1 quickly approaches and we reflect on what seems like a long, long pre season I couldn’t be happier with the application and effort the boys have given. The group seems hungry and driven to finally get this club back to where it deserves to be playing finals footy and I have been impressed with how we are getting the guys to train/act like winning footballers.

The players seem to think this is the most running they have done in any pre season and it is pleasing as I think this is the fittest the group has been for many seasons and hope it shows with our stacking style of football and our team defence that we want them make a real strength. Sam Harmer, Beau Collins, Alex Ritchie’s have been standouts throughout all of pre season and the welcome addition of Julian Doboz full time, the return of David hacker and signing of key forward Mitch van der berg makes for an exciting and promising time in 2018.

Senior Football
Senior Coach: Sam Darley

Originally from Hobart, Sam has previously played 13 AFL games with the Greater Western Syndey Giants 7 AFL games with the Western Bulldogs and also played in their 2014 VFL premiership. Sam has previously captained the Richmond VFL side for 2016 and 2017 and has played in the VFL representative side and captained the side for 2017. We are thrilled to have Sam coach our Seniors for the 2018 seaon.
